Royal Theatre Restoration – Raetihi

The restoration of the historic Royal Theatre in Raetihi was a special project that required the highest level of care, precision, and respect for heritage. As one of the oldest and most treasured buildings in the district, every stage of the work had to protect the building’s structural integrity while allowing full access for restoration crews. We designed and installed both internal and external scaffold systems to support the theatre’s upgrade – from the ornate façade and roofline to the interior detailing and ceiling spaces. Working in a live town environment with a heritage structure meant adapting to evolving site needs and ensuring safety remained a top priority.
